Dees & Associates, Inc. has more than thirty years of local experience delivering cost-effective, value engineering for all projects. Dees & Associates was founded in 2004 by Rebecca Dees as a sole proprietorship. The firm was incorporated in 2005, with the main office located in Santa Cruz, California. Rebecca (Becky) Dees graduated from San Jose State in 1993 with a BS in civil engineering; achieving honorable mention and in the top 10 percent of her class. During her time at San Jose State, she was vice-president (and later secretary) of the Civil Engineering Honor Society, Chi Epsilon, and a member of the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi. While attending college Becky worked part-time as a laboratory and field technician at Haro Kasunich & Associates, a geotechnical and coastal engineering firm in Watsonville, California. She continued working for Haro Kasunich & Associates for fourteen years as a project manager, radiation safety officer, laboratory supervisor, and supervisor of the Caltrans construction testing program.
